Accessibility at the DuBois Campus Library

Accessible Entrances

There is one at the main/front entrance to the library.

Wheelchairs

There are two in the Nurses Office in the PAW Center Building (Student Affairs) but are not physically located in the library.

Elevators

There is one located in the building.

Restrooms

Restrooms are located outside of the library and one gender neutral restroom is located on the ground floor and can be accessed via the elevator.

Accessible Workstations

There are four workstations that adjust and ten that are wheelchair accessible.

Sensory and Neurodiversity Support

The Sensory Study Room is designed to provide a sensory-friendly space to help individual students focus and study. The room includes a moon pod, and study table,. Sensory friendly items also include fidget items, noise cancelling headphones, bubble tower, colored lights, and mood sunglasses.

The Sensory Study Room can be booked by individuals for a 2-hour reservation.

In addition, the library has two Sensory Study Kits available for a 3 day check out. These kits allow students to create their own sensory friendly space. They include noise cancelling headphones, touch lamp, and fidget items.

ADA Accessible Parking

Eight spaces are located at the PAW Center Building lot and 2 are located at the DEF Building (Finance Office/Bursar's Office) lot.

Public Transit

RideATA services the area. There is a bus stop on North 6th Street close to the library.
